Yes. IrisPro International Headquarters supports customers, projects and dealer enquiries worldwide. Verified overseas locations currently listed on this page include Brunei, Sri Lanka and Maldives.

04What should I compare when choosing the best car tint in KL or Selangor?

Compare UV wavelength coverage, TSER, visible light transmission, heat-control technology, optical clarity, warranty and professional installation—not only darkness, price or a single IRR figure.

05Which car tint provides better heat rejection for Malaysian weather?

Choose car tint by its total solar energy rejection, construction, visible-light transmission and installation quality. Nano Carbon Ceramic is practical for everyday driving, while selected multi-layer sputtering series provide stronger solar-heat rejection for frequent midday driving and traffic congestion.

06Why choose a good car tint?

A good car tint is an investment in everyday protection, comfort and efficiency. By reducing solar heat entering the cabin, it can lower the demand on your air-conditioning system—helping reduce energy or fuel consumption while supporting driving range in electric vehicles. More importantly, the right tint helps protect you and your family from harmful solar exposure, reduces fading and deterioration of the vehicle interior, and creates a cooler, more comfortable environment for every journey.

07Which car tint should I choose—Nano Carbon Ceramic or sputtered film?

The suitable choice depends on your budget, driving habits, parking conditions and desired comfort. Nano Carbon Ceramic film provides privacy, UV protection and practical everyday heat control at a more accessible price. Because ceramic-based film manages a greater proportion of solar heat through absorption, the glass may become warmer during prolonged exposure. It is generally suitable for shorter journeys, normal commuting and drivers who are less frequently exposed to intense midday sunlight or heavy traffic. Titanium or Multi-Layer Silver Sputtered film adds ultra-thin metallic layers that reflect more solar heat outward before it builds up in the glass and cabin. It is better suited to frequent drivers, sales executives, vehicles regularly parked outdoors, long journeys and drivers who spend extended periods in traffic under intense Malaysian or ASEAN sunlight. Multi-layer sputtering can provide stronger heat rejection during intense sunlight, better comfort during midday driving and traffic congestion, reduced solar-heat build-up through the glass, less demand on the vehicle’s air-conditioning system, and UV+420 personal and interior protection on selected IrisPro series. Every vehicle will still become warm when parked under the sun for a long period. The difference is how effectively the film manages continuing solar heat and how quickly the cabin can return to a comfortable temperature. A good car tint is an investment in everyday comfort, personal protection and long-term driving confidence—not merely an expense.

08What should I look for in UV protection car tint?

Check the tested wavelength range, not only a UVR99% claim. Conventional automotive window film commonly covers UV protection to 380 nm, while IrisPro UV+420 Optical Solar Film extends through UV400 and into HEV blue light up to 420 nm.

09Is Nano Carbon Ceramic car tint different from ordinary ceramic tint?

IrisPro uses Nano Carbon Ceramic material within its durable hotmelt construction. The carbon-ceramic formulation provides privacy, colour stability and practical solar-heat control through a combination of heat absorption and rejection. For customers seeking stronger reflective heat rejection and greater comfort under intense Malaysian sunlight, selected IrisPro series add advanced Multi-Layer Titanium or Silver Sputtering.

10Does darker tint always make a car cooler?

No. Darkness mainly reduces visible light. Heat performance depends on the film’s materials, solar absorption, reflection and total solar energy rejected.

11What is TSER?

TSER means Total Solar Energy Rejection—the percentage of total solar energy rejected by the complete filmed-glass system across ultraviolet, visible light and infrared wavelengths. Actual heat and UV exposure may vary according to climate, solar intensity, time, glass type and installation conditions.

12What is the difference between IRR and TSER?

IRR measures rejection within a stated infrared wavelength or range, while TSER evaluates rejected energy across the complete ultraviolet, visible and infrared solar spectrum. Because IRR test ranges can differ between suppliers, compare the stated wavelength and test method. For overall solar-heat performance, TSER is generally the more complete comparison when products are tested on the same type of glass under the same standard.

13Can IrisPro help drivers with light-sensitive eyes?

Some drivers experience glare and visual discomfort after eye procedures or during prolonged driving under intense sunlight. One IrisPro customer with post-operative light sensitivity reported that driving became more comfortable after installing IrisPro UV+420 Optical Solar Film—even during longer journeys under strong daytime sun. IrisPro UV+420 is designed to reduce ultraviolet radiation, HEV blue-violet light, solar heat and glare through treated vehicle glass while maintaining suitable visibility. Individual experiences may vary, and drivers should select an appropriate road-compliant VLT.
