OCBC Tower window film project
Architectural solar-control film selected for a commercial building, with a contribution towards Green Building Index (GBI) points recorded by IrisPro.
Watch IrisPro’s project videoWhat does the OCBC Tower example show?
According to IrisPro’s project record, its architectural window-film solution at OCBC Tower contributed towards four GBI points. This describes a contribution in that project; it does not mean the film alone earned four points or that another building will receive the same result.
Application
Commercial building glazing. The project used an IrisPro architectural solar-control window-film solution. The project video gives a view of the installation.
The public project record does not identify a film model, treated glass area, measured temperature reduction or building energy saving. Those figures are intentionally omitted here.
How a new project is assessed
For a house, office or commercial façade, the relevant glass type, orientation, access, daylight, heat and glare objectives should be reviewed before a film is specified. Project-specific technical data and any green-building submission requirements should be agreed during assessment.
GBI points depend on the project design, its documentation and assessment by the appointed GBI team. A published example cannot guarantee points for another site.
