Year-round exposure changes the priority

Near-equatorial locations experience consistently strong sunlight and smaller seasonal changes than temperate markets. Drivers, families and occupants may therefore experience repeated exposure through glass across many months of the year.

UVR99% does not explain the full measurement

A percentage is meaningful only when the tested wavelength or range is known. UV extends to 400 nm, while the blue-violet HEV region continues beyond it. A meter reading at 365 nm cannot by itself confirm performance at 380, 400 or 420 nm.
